The year culminated in the Procurement Tour
In 2025, events were an important part of our customer and supplier cooperation. We organised 57 events with a total of nearly 5,700 registered customers and contractual suppliers. In addition to these, we participated in eight trade fair events.
In the spring, industry professionals gathered in Helsinki for the Travel Day. Almost two hundred customers took part in the Travel Day, with about fifty contract suppliers as exhibitors. The day was opened by Category Manager Minna Isoherranen, who guided the audience through travel news from the past ten years. Accompanying her in discussions about the changes to travel and the Act on Public Procurement were Fimea’s Chief Information Officer Mirke Turunen and Hansel’s Chief Legal Officer Jukka-Pekka Salmela. After the comprehensive ten-year review, it was time to take a look at the future of travel with Gabriela Suorti from the travel agency Amex GBT. At the end of the day, customers got to visit the stands of the contractual suppliers.
Customers were met all over Finland
In the autumn, we toured Finland with the Procurement Tour. During the tour, we met approximately 550 customers. The tour lasted from October to December and covered 16 locations from Rovaniemi to Helsinki. A large group of Hansel experts were present. The topics of the speeches included joint procurement and the savings achieved through it, as well as current news about public procurement. In addition, every location featured our customer telling the audience about their own procurement journey.
